Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update Released for Bell Canada Users

Bell Mobility has announced that all the Samsung Galaxy S5 owners on their network will receive today the official Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update. If you’re one of them, then keep a close eye on your smartphone and confirm the upgrade process right as the Lollipop notification appears in order to get all the new firmware files installed successfully.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with tons of visual changes such as the Material Design UI, and the new more bloatware-free TouchWiz. Besides all the visual changes you will also be getting some software improvements that will finally offer all Galaxy S5 users the possibility of running a better Android environment.
Some of the most important new features added by Samsung and Bell through Android 5.0 Lollipop are as following: intelligent notifications ranking, Priority Mode, a much more colorful and vibrant interface due to Material Design environment, lock screen notifications control, new native Battery Power Saving mode, improved Security, Device Sharing, new Quick Settings toggles, better Wi-Fi connectivity, BLE peripheral mode, Android RunTime (ART) fully integrated that has replaced Dalvik, improved Google Now, Settings search support, more languages supported, and multiple other great new things.
Bell is rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update via OTA (over-the-air) and through Samsung KIES software for all the Samsung Galaxy S5 users on their network. Note that the new update has the firmware version set to G900W8VLU1BOB3 and it will arrive for all Galaxy S5 devices that are currently running stock Android 4.4.x KitKat. If your device has suffered any modifications to its software, then the official update will not be rolled out for it and you will have to use other methods in order to install official Lollipop firmware on it.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is rolling out for Bell Samsung Galaxy S5 in phases, which means that not all users are going to get the new firmware at the same time. Don’t worry if the Lollipop update notification doesn’t arrive today for your device, it will most probably arrive in the following days. Tell us in comments if you’ve received the new Android 5.0 Lollipop G900W8VLU1BOB3 Update and, if you did, then feel free to let others know how your Bell Galaxy S5 under Lollipop feel is after a few hours of testing.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update Rolling Out in Germany

The official Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update has been released in Germany for the Unlocked versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 devices. Up until now this update was already released by various carrier-locked Galaxy S5 models.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update comes with a multitude of features and functions that will make the Galaxy S5 works faster and better than it did until now. Also, the TouchWiz bloatware has been somewhat reduced, so you won’t be that annoyed every time you open various menus across your device’s interface. Android 5.0 Lollipop is probably one of the biggest OS updates ever released by Google and now Samsung has pushed it across Germany for all the unlocked versions of the Galaxy S5.
This new firmware update is being released in phases, which means that not all Unlocked Galaxy S5 devices in Germany are going to receive the new firmware update at the same time. When the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is sent for your device you will see a notification popping up, and the only thing that you need to do is to confirm the firmware download process in order to get it flashed on your phone.
Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update comes with the following important features and functions: new Material Design UI interface, lockscreen actionable notifications support, new toggles for Quick Settings, better graphics, Multiple Users support, Guest User, Screen Pinning, Android Runtime (ART) fully integrated, no more Dalvik, Recent multi-tasking new screen, native Battery Power Saver, and more that you can discover by yourself after completing the Lollipop installation. Remember that this update is sent only for Galaxy S5 devices running 100% stock Android 4.4.x KitKat OS.

T-Mobile Galaxy S5 now Receiving OTA Android 5.0 Lollipop Update

T-Mobile is now offering the OTA Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Galaxy S5 devices. So, if you own a T-Mobile branded Samsung Galaxy S5, now you can start checking for the Lollipop notification. The firmware should be spotted automatically on your phone – just slide down the notification panel as the OTA should be displayed there.
However, since we are talking about an official release, the T-Mobile Android 5.0 Lollipop OS will be rolled out gradually, or in phases. This means that not all the Galaxy S5 users will receive the OTA at the same time. If the notification isn’t yet displayed on your phone, you can manually search for the same by going to “menu – settings – about phone – software version – check for software updates”.
The firmware is dubbed as UVU1DOB1 and it is coming as a 900 MB package – make sure you enable a Wi-Fi connection during the download and update procedure. The Lollipop update can be applied automatically; downloaded via Samsung KIES or manually installed through Odin (we will bring a proper tutorial so stay close).
Android 5.0 Lollipop for T-Mobile Galaxy S5 comes as a stable and smooth update that brings everything that’s new on the Android platform: material Design-inspired UI, lockscreen notifications, improved performance and battery life along many other features and apps.
Do note that you can receive the OTA update only if your phone is not rooted and only if your device is running on stock Android OS – else, you will have to flash the UVU1DOB1 software manually by using Odin (just download the firmware from SamMobile and flash it on your device through the mentioned program).

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update is Now Available

Sprint has started to roll out the official Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update for their Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone. This update is rolled out in phases and all Sprint Galaxy S5 users should be getting the new files before the end of this month.
This is the biggest upgrade that gets released for this device and it brings the brand new Lollipop OS upgrade along with Material Design UI, improved TouchWiz interface, new notifications control, intelligent notifications ranking, Priority Mode, better graphics management, better Power Saving Mode, estimated discharge/ charge time display, improved Security, Android Smart Lock, Device Sharing new features, Multiple users, new Quick Settings toggles, improved Bluetooth technology, Android Runtime (ART) full version replaces the old Dalvik, and many others. You will find more about this Android 5.0 and what it contains at Samsung here.
The Samsung support web page of Android 5.0 OTA Update for Sprint Galaxy S5 device tells us that the Lumen tool bar removed completely while the Vo Wi-Fi UI has been improved. Remember to use the Wi-Fi connection in order to complete the installation of Android 5.0 G900PVPU1AOA6 Lollipop OTA update without going over your mobile data plan.
This new update by Sprint and Samsung is being released in phases, so you should expect it to arrive before the end of this month for all the Galaxy S5 models. Note that this official Android 5.o OTA Update is only being released for stock Sprint Galaxy S5 phones, so you won’t be getting any official updates in case you’ve installed any custom Android ROMs for your Galaxy S5.
If the Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update isn’t displayed by your phone’s notification screen, then you should go to Settings> System Update and see if there are any new firmware files available for download. If there are any updates available you should simply confirm the installation and then your Sprint Galaxy S5 smartphone will complete the whole process automatically.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 Update for AT&T Now Rolling out

A couple of days ago, Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S5 got updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop and now we hear that the folks at AT&T are rolling out a new software update for Sammy’s 2014 flagship smartphone.  Unfortunately, it’s not Lollipop, but another Android 4.4.4 KitKat build.
The Galaxy S5 was released with Android 4.4.2 so the KitKat-specific goodies such as transparent status and nav bars, white status bar icons, immersive mode, cloud printing, full screen album and movie art in the lock screen, or color emoji support were already in place. According to the changelog posted on AT&T’s website, the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 KitKat update arrives with improvements, bug fixes, and security patches, along with HD Voice support and VoLTE (Voice over LTE). Unfortunately, the new software update adds even more bloatware: Mail – ATT Mail, AT&T Live, Uber, and Remote support.
The Android 4.4.4 update for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 is being rolled out in phases, meaning that it will not hit all terminals in the same time. When your device becomes eligible to receive the new firmware you should be able to notice a system update message in the notifications bar. Tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also perform a manual check under Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates. You can also check for the update via KIES. Grab the USB cable, connect your smartphone to the PC, and then launch Samsung’s software tool.
The Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 KitKat update has build number KTU84P.G900AUCU2AOA1 and weighs in at 487 MB. We are recommending you to download the update using a Wi-Fi network in order to avoid unwanted data charges.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Now Rolling out at Verizon

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 owners, we have great news for you! The carrier has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update is now being pushed to users.
Verizon is the first US-based carrier to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5 which is a bit odd, given that Big Red is known to be a bit behind the curve when it comes to software updates. As usual, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being rolled out in phases, which means that some of you would have to wait longer than others before being able to download and install the new update.
After your smartphone becomes eligible to receive the new software, you should be able to notice a system update message in the notifications bar. Tap on it, choose ‘Download now’, wait until the download is completed, then select ‘Install now.’ Your smartphone should reboot and install the new firmware. In case the system update notification failed to show up, you would also want to perform a manual check under Settings > General > About phone > Software updates > Check for software updates. Alternatively, you can grab the USB, connect your terminal to the PC, and check for the update via KIES.
According to Verizon’s support PDF, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop has software version VRU1BNLC. Of course, the update brings Material design with fluid animations and 3D effects and shadows, bolder colors and new toggle button style, along with lock screen improvements such as Phone and Camera shortcuts, lock screen notifications, the ability to set priority and privacy level for notifications on lockscreen, and TouchWiz tweaks. The new software update also introduces the document-centric recent menu, and the new Interruptions mode.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop Extends To Users in Australia

Samsung is continuing with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its flagship Galaxy S5. The update for the S5 was rolled out first in December last year for users in Poland and has been expanding to more regions steadily. The latest region to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update happens to be Australia. The update is so far only available for a few users, but we expect the update to become available for most users within the next few days.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 brings a number of improvements like the updated TouchWiz UI designed on Material Design guidelines set by Google, new heads up notifications, faster performance thanks to the switch to ART runtime, improvements to the fingerprint scanner thanks to newer driver being used, improved battery life thanks to Project Volta, and a number of other optimizations and improvements across the board.
As you might know, Android OEMS usually roll out major software updates in phases. The update rolls out in a few regions initially and then later the update is pushed out to users in other regions. This process can sometimes take up to two or three months to be completed. The Galaxy S5 Lollipop rollout began in December, so we expect the roll out to complete within March. This means most Galaxy S5 users who haven’t yet received the Android Lollipop update can expect to receive the update this month. However, there are chances that the rollout may take longer to complete as Samsung has also recently started the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout for other Galaxy smartphones such as the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4. It is also expected to begin the Lollipop rollout for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge very soon.
If you can’t wait for the Lollipop OTA update to arrive for your Galaxy S5, you also have the option to flash one of the many CyanogenMod 12 based ROMs that are available on XDA developers forum. These ROMs are based on the latest Android 5.0.2 version and let you enjoy Android Lollipop without the TouchWiz bloatware that Samsung builds into its official firmware. However, to flash CM12 ROMs you need to have an unlocked Bootloader, so the option is available to you only if you don’t mind your warranty getting void.

Samsung Galaxy S5 UK Owners Receiving Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Update Now

Samsung continues to expand the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout for the Galaxy S5. The latest region to receive the update is UK. The Android Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 has already been seeded for users in Poland, Russia, Malaysia, and Spain in the last few weeks.
The new Android Lollipop update released for UK Galaxy S5 owners is based on Android 5.0 version and not the more recent Android 5.0.2 version that the company is using for test Lollipop builds on all the other flagship devices that are slated to receive the Lollipop update in the next few weeks. The reason being Samsung would have been forced to delay the Lollipop rollout for the Galaxy S5 if it went ahead with pushing the Android 5.0.2 version. The Android 5.0.2 is a bigger upgrade than the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update and thus it will take longer for Samsung to prepare the Android 5.0.2 update for the Galaxy S5. It is expected that the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 will arrive in a month or two.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 owners in UK carries the build number G900FXXU1BOA3 and can be downloaded to your Galaxy S5 Over-The-Air (OTA) or installed via the Samsung KIES application. If you want to download and install the update via the OTA method, go to Settings – About Phone – System Updates and check for the update. Make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network though, as the update cannot be downloaded over the cellular network since it is a major update. If you have a computer that has Samsung KIES application installed, you can connect your Samsung Galaxy S5 to the computer via the USB cable and install the update through your computer. Alternatively, if you have rooted your Galaxy S5 and have a custom recovery installed on it, you can download the firmware ZIP file from SamMobile and flash the update via recovery. Before you flash the ZIP file, make sure that you wipe cache, data, system and Dalvik cache.
The update includes all the major features included with Lollipop release and a complete overhaul of the UI and Samsung apps like S Health, dialer, messaging, and calendar apps based on Google’s Material Design guidelines. You will also find new features like heads-up notifications, Tap & Go, MirrorLink support and other optimizations.

Samsung Galaxy S5: Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Rollout Update

Galaxy S5 Lollipop update was the first update sent out by Samsung. The update rollout started out slow, but has picked up pace in the past two weeks, with more regions recently receiving the update. Here’s the latest news on the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout for the Galaxy S5.
Samsung has always been one of the fastest OEMs with regard to Android software updates. Samsung flagship Galaxy smartphones have consistently been among the first non-Nexus smartphones to receive updates to the latest Android versions. This year, other OEMs such as LG, Motorola, Sony, and HTC announced their update plans publicly and promised quick rollouts of the Lollipop update for their flagship smartphone users. Samsung has never been very public about its future update plans and decided to keep its plans private this time as well. However, the company did manage to surprise us when it started the Android 5.0 Lollipop update rollout for Samsung Galaxy S5 users in Poland last month. The official Android 5.0 Lollipop update for users in Poland was a beta test of sorts and the company rolled out two more updates in the weeks that followed before expanding the Android Lollipop rollout to other regions in Europe. Samsung also jumped straight to the 5.0.1 version of Lollipop, instead of Android 5.0.

Lollipop Update Progress

Samsung rolled out the first Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update firmware to Galaxy S5 G900F owners in Poland and later expanded the update to a few other regions in Europe. South Korea was the next major market to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, followed by Spain. Recently, the update has also been seeded to Galaxy S5 owners in Russia and Malaysia. So far, the update has only been available for the Galaxy S5 international variant, the G900F. No other model of the Galaxy S5 has received the Lollipop update except the three carrier variants in South Korea. The Lollipop update is available OTA as well as via the Samsung Kies PC suite.

More Regions Expected to Receive Lollipop Update This Month

We expect that Samsung will be rolling out the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update to Galaxy S5 users in a number of other markets. Although we cannot be sure if any other variants of the Galaxy S5 will receive the update this month, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A model definitely will. The LTE-A model of the Galaxy S5 was launched in June last year and comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H Exynos Octa-core model hasn’t received the update yet either, and we expect the Lollipop rollout for this model to begin this month for at least a few select regions. What does remain to be seen though is when the European carriers will be rolling out the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Active variants are also expected to see an update, but we’re not sure when the rollouts for these devices may begin.

Lollipop Rollout for US Carrier Variants of the Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 US carrier variants are also expected to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update this month. The Android 5.0 Lollipop test build for the Sprint Galaxy S5 variant was leaked recently, which confirms that the Lollipop update is undergoing testing with the carrier. Update details for the US market were revealed by a Samsung rep last month, who spilled the beans on the update plans for the US market. Samsung is currently training its staff ahead of the update rollout. Even though the update might begin this month, not everyone will receive the update by the end of this month, as major updates are rolled out in phases by Android OEMs. So while the Lollipop update may show up this month for some users, others may need to wait until next month to receive it. This applies not just to the US market but also other regions. Samsung is also expected to begin the Android Lollipop rollout for other models such as the Galaxy Note 4, Note Edge, Note 3, and the Galaxy S4 this month, which is likely to put greater pressure on Samsung’s update servers.

Small Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 KitKat Update Rolling Out from Verizon

Verizon has announced that their version of Samsung Galaxy S5 is getting a brand new Android 4.4.4 KitKat OTA update. This is a small firmware update and it is not the new Android 5.0 Lollipop, which should be ready for a January 2015 launch.
There aren’t too many new changes added in this release, as most probably Verizon has probably already started to test the Android 5.0 Lollipop and we will soon receive news on its possible official launch. Up until then you should flash this new Android 4.4.4 KitKat build.
The KTU84P.G900VVrU1ANK2 Android 4.4.4 build comes with bug fixes and it replaces the Isis Mobile Wallet to Softcard as the former name resembles the acronym now used by a jihadist rebel group. There are no other major changes in this new firmware, but you’re free to tell us in comments if you can find some new features worth mentioning after testing the G900VVRU1ANK2 firmware.
Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is being rolled out in phases for the Galaxy S5 by Verizon and it will not hit all units at the same time. However, before the end of this year all the Verizon Galaxy S5 users will receive the new firmware files. The update is available through OTA (over-the-air) and most probably it will soon be pushed through Samsung KIES, too.
When the update notification arrives on your Verizon Galaxy S5 you should read the changelog and then simply confirm the Android 4.4.4 KitKat firmware update installation. Note that this new release is a small Android 4.4.4 build and it should be installed in under ten minutes. If your Galaxy S5 hasn’t received the new update notification, then you can go to Settings> More> About Phone> Software menu and see if there are any new KitKat firmware files ready for download.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update is Rolling out Now

The official Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update is currently rolling out in Europe for the International Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F model. Check your phone’s notification panel starting today and see if there are any new firmware files available for download.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is being released over-the-air and through Samsung KIES application. This release comes only weeks after the new operating system were launched with Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 tablets. This new update has been spotted in Poland for now, but Galaxy S5 phone from other Europe countries should also get the new LRX21T Android 5.0 firmware upgrade starting today. There is no official word on the upgrade’s worldwide availability, though it shouldn’t take long until we will see it released in other parts of the world, too.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F device will feel like a brand new smartphone after you will complete the installation process of Android 5.0 Lollipop LRX21T update. This new operating system comes with a brand new Material Design UI, new security options, device sharing capabilities, full Android runtime (ART) support, new lockscreen features, improved notifications menu, Screen Pin, new Recent multi-tasking menu and tons of other great features.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop lock screen of your Galaxy S5 will now be able to display notifications info that you can interact with and dismiss in case you don’t want to be disturbed while working. Also, the Notifications screen is now featuring a “priority” function that permits users to only allow incoming calls from favorite contacts. The Smart Lock settings can be used to set various safe locations where your Galaxy S5 will unlock itself automatically without having the user entering his unlock code.
Hopefully the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS will get rid once and for all of the ‘lag’ issues that the Galaxy S5 users have experienced on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. This update will hit only the SM – G900F Galaxy S5 models at first and if there are no major bugs reported, then Samsung will allow the US carriers to roll out the Android 5.0 firmware on their Galaxy S5 editions, too.
The new Android 5.0 Lollipop LRX21T OTA Update is sent as FOTA (firmware-over-the-air) and you simply need to confirm the download and installation process when the update notification arrives. Make sure to use a Wi-Fi connection in order to complete the Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 update. In case the new update hasn’t arrived yet for your Galaxy S5, then you shouldn’t panic as it is being pushed out in phases at first and Android 5.0 will surely arrive before the end of this year.
You can check yourself for new Android 5.0 LRX21T firmware files by going to Settings> System> About Device> Software Update> Update menu. Confirm the download if there are any files ready for installation. Also, you can check for new Galaxy S5 G900F Android 5.0 Update files using the Samsung KIES software and your computer.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop Firmware Leaked for the Sprint Variant

Rumor has it that the South Korean phone maker might release the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update sometime in December. After we’ve seen Lollipop running on a Galaxy S5, now an Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware leaked for the Sprint Galaxy S5 SM-G900P,
The leaked Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop build has been made available by an XDA-developers forum member and, according to him, “this will not be the OTA release and may have issues.” Therefore it’s safe to assume that this is just a test build and that it might not be yet ready for daily usage.
The XDA member said that he’s tested calls, SMS, and “other functions” and they seem to work. He also adds that flashing the leaked Android 5.0 Lollipop build on your Sprint Galaxy S5 will wipe data on your device.
If you previously flashed ROMs on your Galaxy S5, then you shouldn’t have any troubles installing this Lollipop build. All you need to do is download the leaked Android 5.0 Lollipop build from here, extract the contents on your PC, boot your Sprint S5 in download mode, Open Odin, place the tar.mdg in the PDA slot, then hit the start button. Your smartphone should reboot and install the new firmware.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is the most major update Android has seen so far, so expect major improvements. The new software should arrive with revamped Material Design interface, multi-user support for phones; lock screen notifications, new notifications bar and quick settings, new recent menu, improved performance courtesy of ART (Android Runtime), and more.

New Android 4.4.2 Update for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 Now Available Over the air

T-Mobile announced today that a new software update is now being pushed to their own Samsung Galaxy S5 variant. If you happen to have one by your side, you should keep an eye on the notifications bar. The new update is still based on Android 4.4.2 and only brings minor changes.
The roll out for the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.2 update started November 24 and, as usual, we are dealing with a staged roll out. This means that some user might have to wait longer than others. Unfortunately, T-Mobiles website doesn’t reveal too many details about the new update, except for the fact that it brings Chinese language support.
The new Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy S5 will update your baseband to version G900TUVU1CNK2 and you will be able to retrieve it over-the-air. If the OTA update fails to initiate (the system update notification doesn’t appear), you can also try a manual pull down (manually check for the update under Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates now. The new update is also rolled out via KIES so you can also plug in your device to the PC using the USB cable and use Samsung’s software to check for the update.
The update file shouldn’t be too large in size if you’re running a recent build, but, even so, it’s advisable to download it using a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid unwanted data charges. T-Mobile also notes that if you are coming from software version G900TUVU1BNH5 the update will have a size of around 33 MB, but if you are coming from G900TUVU1ANE6 the new update will have a size of about 140 MB.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 Update Now Rolling out at Sprint

If you happen to own a Spring Galaxy S5, then you should keep an eye on the notifications panel. Even though the folks at Verizon released the same update more than two months ago, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 update for Sprint users only stared to roll out today.
As usual, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.4 update is being pushed to users in phases, which means that some of you might have to wait longer than others. As you may already know, once your device becomes eligible to receive the new firmware, you should be able to notice a system update message in the notifications area. Tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions. If the system update notification failed to appear, you would also want to perform a manual check under Settings > System update > Update now > OK. Alternatively, you can grab the USB cable, connect your smartphone to the PC, and then search for the update via KIES.
Because the Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4.2 out of the box, it already comes pre-loaded with all the KitKat-specific goodies such as transparent status and nav bars, color emoji support, the new Location menu, immersive mode, white status bar icons, cloud printing, or full screen album art in the lockscreen. The Android 4.4.4 update is mostly about adding enhanced Google Security, but sprints also lists International Wi-Fi Calling support and HD Voice Icon among in the changelog posted on their website. It’s also worth noting that the new update has build number G900PVPU1ANK4.

Even though Sprint failed to reveal the size of the new update, expect it to weigh in around 400 MB. Therefore, we are recommending you to download the update file using a stable Wi-Fi network in order to avoid unwanted data charges.
