Apple iPhone 6 sales have been going strong so far, with it and its larger sibling, iPhone 6 Plus, having set new sales records. While people were expecting the new iPhone 6 to be more expensive than the iPhone 5s, it actually turned out to be the same in terms of pricing for the base 16GB model and cheaper for the higher 64GB variant. There are some interesting deals running on the iPhone 6 currently, so you can get the latest Apple smartphone for great prices. Verizon is in fact offering the iPhone 6 for free.
Apple iPhone 6 deals in the US
The Verizon deal involves trading in your old iPhone 5s or a 5c, 5, 4s or 4. For an iPhone 5s, you’ll receive a $300 Verizon gift card, while for the other older devices you receive a $200 gift card. The deal ends on October 15th though, so there are only a few days left for you to get your new iPhone 6 for free. The deal’s already been extended once, so this is your last opportunity to grab it.
Major U.S. retailers are also offering great deals on the iPhone 6. Best Buy is offering a trade-in deal on the iPhone 6. When you trade-in a qualified old handset with Best Buy for a new iPhone 6, you will get a $200 gift card. The deal ends on October 16th.
Another major U.S. retailer, Walmart, is also offering a great deal for iPhone 6 buyers. The Walmart deal is especially targeted at owners of older devices, who will receive double the trade-in value of their smartphones. The deal lasts up to October 18th.

T-Mobile and AT&T are also offering interesting trade-in deals for iPhone 6. T-Mobile hasn’t clearly mentioned details of its trade-in deals, so you’d need to head on to a T-Mobile store for more details. Hot Deal on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is one of the hottest 10-inch Android tablets on the market. It also offers a bright and vivid Quad-HD resolution display that is great for enjoying multimedia content at home as well as on the go. So if an entertainment tablet is what you’re looking for, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is the perfect choice. The tablet is currently being sold on eBay for a very attractive price of $349.99 for a limited period.
It is not a completely new unit though, but a manufacturer refurbished one. You also get a 90-day warranty on it as well as free shipping anywhere in the U.S. The unfortunate part is the limited stock with the seller. So far, 70 units have been sold and not many remain, so you need to hurry if you want one. Also note that the model being offered is a 3G model and therefore doesn’t support 4G LTE networks.
Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tech specs

The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 was launched by Samsung in October last year and is an excellent device with some of the best specs available among 10-inch-screen Android tablets. You get a 10.1-inch Quad-HD 2560 x 1440 resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Exynos Octa-core chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, a microSD card slot, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording capability, a 2MP front-facing camera, a Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, A-GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, built-in IR remote functionality, a 8220mAh Li-Po battery, S-Pen Stylus support, and multi-window mode for a superior multitasking experience. The overall dimensions of the device are also very decent at 243.1 x 171.4 x 7.9mm. It’s on the heavier side as far as weight goes though, at 540 grams. But for a 10-inch tablet, it really doesn’t matter too much as you won’t be carrying it around with you all the time.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Deal: Price Dropped by $200

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Deal: Price Dropped by $200

Following the recent announcement of the latest addition to Samsung’s super-sized smartphone series, the Galaxy Note 4, the South Korean company has reduced the prices for its previous iteration, the Galaxy Note 3. The price decrease is currently in place across various mobile networks, online retailers, and brick-and-mortar stores all over North America.

Note 3 deals on Amazon, Verizon, and AT&T

Amazon, the leading online e-commerce service in the United States, lists the device at $599.99, down by $200 from the previous price of $799.99 for brand new off-contract devices. Amazon also offers on-contract iterations of the Galaxy Note 3. Verizon Wireless subscribers can avail of the 32GB version of the device with a 24-month contract for a one-time fee of $99.99 – the 64GB version goes for $149.99. A used version of the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 is also available at $385, off-contract. For AT&T subscribers, you can avail of the device on-contract for free for the 32GB iteration, and $75 for the 64GB version. This also comes with a 24-month contract. Sprint only offers the Galaxy Note 3 off-contract for $599.99.
The 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 4 is currently available for pre-order from Verizon and AT&T for $299.99 with a 24-month contract, and is available in only two colors for now – Charcoal Black and Frosted White. The expected date of release is October 17th.

The off-contract price for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be $826, an amount marginally larger than the lowest-tier iteration of the iPhone 6 currently being sold at $649, unlocked.

Google Nexus 5 Deal: Price Drops on eBay

Google Nexus 5 Deal: Price Drops on eBay

With Google expected to be releasing the Nexus 6 (Nexus X) at some point in October, many consumers are looking to find some great deals on the Nexus 5. Just as with any smartphone, many carriers and retail stores want to get rid of stock to make room, and offer the older device at steep discounts. Last year, Google themselves began offering the Nexus 4 at a 25% lower price tag 3 months ahead of the Nexus 5 release. So what can we expect to see of the Nexus 5’s price, and how soon?
Google Nexus 5 deal on eBay
Although Google is still listing the Nexus 5 for $349 from the Google Play Store, and most carriers and retail stores are keeping their price as well, a refurbished phone seller from eBay seemed to have been trying to get rid of their stock recently. They were selling unlocked Nexus 5s for $314 and quickly sold out after reaching 2,000 orders. This is just a refurbished device seller, so it could mean absolutely nothing, but could also give a bit of insight into what Google might lower the price to.
We might not see the Nexus 5 dip down in price until the new Nexus 6 is unveiled in October, or we might see it discounted next week. There’s no for-sure date, but it will be useful to keep checking the Play store, your carrier, and retail stores to see if there’s a sale going on, or a permanent price drop.
The Nexus 6, or Nexus X, is rumored to sport a 5.2in 1440 x 2560 resolution display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, and 2.1MP front camera. These are all hefty upgrades from the current Nexus 5 which sports a 4.95in 1080 x 1920 resolution display running at 445 pixels per inch, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, and an 8MP rear camera. We may be seeing the new Nexus 6 running on Google’s newest addition to Android, the Android L, out of the box.

Deal: HTC One M8 and LG G3 Just $50, Samsung Galaxy S5 $80 at Amazon

Deal: HTC One M8 and LG G3 Just $50, Samsung Galaxy S5 $80 at Amazon

The three flagship smartphones have been discounted by Amazon and they’re price at $50 for the LG G3 and HTC One M8, while the Samsung Galaxy S5 costs $80. The prices are available with a Verizon two-year contract and include free shipping.
This is a really good deal, especially compared to the prices offered by other merchants and we expect them to increase again soon, so you should act fast if you want to get your hands on one of them. The LG G3, HTC One M8, and Samsung Galaxy S5 are three of the best flagships of the year and they have been recently released, so we don’t expect the price to go down anything soon.
They all come with very similar specs and I’m going to refresh your memory with a summary of their hardware. The LG G3 sports a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 UHD IPS display, a 2.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The HTC One M8 features a 2.3Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 5-inch Full HD 1920×1080 display, 32GB of internal storage, and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy S5 has the same processor as the G3, along with a 5.1-inch Full HD 1920×1080 pixels Super Amoled HD display, 16GB of internal memory and 2GB of RAM.
All of them come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, so the differences aren’t really huge between them. If you want a bigger and higher-resolution display, then you should pick the G3, but if you need more features, like the fingerprint scanner or heart-rate monitor, go with the S5. HTC One M8 stands out for the really premium build, which simply looks amazing.
If you’ve decided to order one of them or just want to take a better look of them, head over to the following links which will get you to Amazon’s page: LG G3HTC One M8, and Samsung Galaxy S5.
