It’s only been a short time since Samsung made its Galaxy Note Edge public, intriguing customers. Furthermore, it seems that the next flagship will take inspiration from the Galaxy Note and incorporate a dual curve display. Costco is opening up pre-orders for the Note Edge, which is great news for those who want to buy one.

Samsung aimed at November 3rd as a release date for their Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, but that didn’t work out due to the stocks being unprepared for the demand. They further delayed the device until November 25th, and Optus pleasantly surprised us by putting the phone up for pre-order. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a very unique device, which features a curved display. It quickly became controversial as soon as it was announced, because no other phone ever featured such a display. Left-handed users showed skepticism and accused the device of being impractical, but that may change in the future, as Samsung has bigger plans for this sort of design.

The Note Edge is currently priced at $71 per month ($35 My Plan Plus + $36 handset repayment), and this plan includes up to 300 minutes of phone calls, 500MB of monthly data, and unlimited text messages. There are of course other plans, like $81 per month, featuring up to 600 minutes, 1GB of monthly data, and unlimited texts. There’s a third option of $89, with unlimited minutes, 2.5GB of monthly data, and unlimited texts. You’ve got a very wide array of choices if you’re planning on pre-ordering the Note Edge on contract, and you can either wait until Black Friday to get a good deal (hopefully) on the device, or you can go straight ahead, strike a contract, and get the phone as soon as it is officially released.

Nexus 6 Pre-Orders Shipping Early for Some

The Nexus 6 release date and pre-order situation has been a bit of a mess with stock being empty from any and all sources, but today we have good news for those who were able to secure an order. Yesterday we confirmed more pre-order options had arrived, and quickly sold out, but now Motorola has reportedly started shipping the Nexus 6 early.

Since being first announced on October 15th the Nexus 6 release date has been a complete mystery. There’s still no solid release date from Google, even though Play Store orders are suggested to ship around the 21st, but today good news finally arrived.

The Nexus 6 is finally headed to the hands on eager customers and will be more widely available this week to prospective buyers. From AT&T taking pre-orders, to Sprint offering the new handset in stores tomorrow, November 14th. Read on for more details regarding Nexus 6 pre-order shipments.

This morning multiple reliable sources on Twitter have confirmed the Nexus 6 has indeed started shipping as of today from Motorola. Meaning that for those who ordered from Motorola.com over the past week, rather than from the Play Store, may get the device as soon as tomorrow or Friday depending on shipping.

Moto Firmware has also confirmed the same details, suggesting that “Your Nexus 6 has shipped” email notifications are now going out to many customers that were able to order the Nexus 6 from Motorola before it sold out last Wednesday. More orders went up for pre-order yesterday, but sold out in under an hour, but this is certainly good news regarding the Nexus 6 release date.

Google’s pre-order system suggested orders would start shipping until November 21st, and Motorola.com was telling buyers the Nexus 6 would ship with an “estimated delivery date of 11/19″ for day-one orders. Of course that’s next Wednesday, and not today. However, it looks like orders are shipping out early, and many buyers will have the Nexus 6 before the end of the week.

It’s worth noting that many who pre-ordered the Nexus 6 from Motorola.com also received expected ship dates of November 21st, and some as late as November 26th.

We’ve reached out to Motorola who still claims orders will ship around Friday and be delivered by the 19th estimate originally mentioned during the pre-order process, but we’ve now heard from more than a few sources suggesting otherwise. A quick call to Motorola’s support number we were told they should ship within the next 24-48 hours, which is good news.

AT&T Nexus 6 Now Available for Pre-order

Nexus 6 was one of the most anticipated smartphones of the second half of the year. Google officially introduced it to the public mid-October synchronized with Android 5.0 Lollipop announcement, but, for the time being, the new Nexus phone is not available for purchase.

All major US carriers have already announced they will feature the Nexus 6 in their line-up and now we are glad to announce you that AT&T is accepting pre-orders for the device. The second biggest carrier in the US estimates that the first pre-orders will be fulfilled November 18th.

AT&T is selling the Nexus 6 in Midnight Blue body liver and, for the time being, only the 32 GB model is available for pre-order. The device has a price of $249.99 with a two-year contract, but you can also grab it at $682.99 no-strings attached. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was supposed to be released on October 23rd, but Verizon pleasantly surprised its customers by shipping the device a day earlier. The tech magnate’s device was announced back in September and has since then stirred up a lot of hype among many tech enthusiasts due to its high-tier specs.

Shortly after the South Korean tech giant announced its Galaxy Note 4 last month, most US carriers announced their release dates for it, or at least hinted at them, with Verizon aiming for an October 23rd release date. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was meant to be a primary competitor for Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices, following a long trial between the two companies which was won by Samsung.

If you decide to go with the $0 upfront option, you will need to pay $31.24 per month along with a $10 fee for the SIM-starter kit. You will also need to pay $50 per month for the plan, so that brings the total to $81.24 per month.

The pre-orders will start shipping from October 17th, so there is still a fair bit of waiting even for those who decide to pre-order. For those who do not plan on pre-ordering the device, the wait could be even longer. With the Apple iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus managing to sell 10 million units in their first weekend, Samsung should have probably reduced the gap between the announcement and the release of the Note 4. With wider availability not expected until the end of next month, the Note 4 will hit stores almost two months after its official announcement. Even though the Galaxy Note 4 offers more features and is a more complete phablet thanks to the S-Pen stylus feature, Samsung sure is making things easy for Apple with the slow release of the Galaxy Note 4.

With the Moto Maker, you can customize your Moto X (2014), giving you the option to choose what color the back and front plates will be, as well as some accent colors. You can also customize the device’s back plate material. A leather-ized version of the Moto X (2014) will cost an extra $100, and a wood-plated iteration will need a top up of $50.

As a refresher, the Moto X (2014) comes with a 5.2-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, giving it a pixel density of 424 ppi. However, some eBay pre-orders have been known to double the normal price. Well, this news is a little bizarre but not totally surprising: a customer paid $1,300 to pre-order an Apple iPhone 6, plus $10.06 delivery costs.

We’re used to this sort of news. Every year, when a new flagship iPhone gets released, thousands of fans go through challenges to get their hands on the new gadget. We must admit there are certainly extravagant customers out there, and their numbers aren’t small at all, considering Apple is going to release a golden iPad Air soon.

eBay has been offering its own pre-orders for the device, which, as mentioned above, could probably reach up to two times the initial price of the iPhone 6. Customers have been bidding premium prices that disregard the off-contract price of Apple’s original iPhone 6; so naturally, some people will fall for fake prices or buy overpriced products. The device ordered for $1,300 has an initial cost of $399.00 for a two-year contract, or $949.00 without a contract.

Today we have some news regarding pre-orders for the iPhone 6. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless have all released details about the pre-order. Unlike Apple, they included the exact time you’ll be able to grab a phone.

It seems that you’ll be able to pre-order the device on September 12th at 12:01 am (Pacific Time).

T-Mobile doesn’t appear to be part of these plans, as they’re still yet to release a statement. The Apple website still lists the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus pre-orders as ‘coming soon’, but they’ve previously stated the device will be available to order starting from September 12th, so we can expect Apple to follow the same time as the three major U.S. carriers.

Don’t be surprised if the carrier sites and Apple’s site crash for a few minutes when midnight strikes on the 12th. There will be a huge load on their servers with millions of other people trying to get the latest iPhone, so be patient.

Verizon Wireless is allowing in-store pickup, but there’s a catch. They will have to have enough iPhone 6 units in stock to meet the needs of walk-ins, so once that number is met, you’ll be able to pick up your pre-ordered iPhone. Apple also offers in-store pickup, but details regarding that don’t seem to exist just yet.
