Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update Rolling Out in Germany

The official Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update has been released in Germany for the Unlocked versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 devices. Up until now this update was already released by various carrier-locked Galaxy S5 models.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update comes with a multitude of features and functions that will make the Galaxy S5 works faster and better than it did until now. Also, the TouchWiz bloatware has been somewhat reduced, so you won’t be that annoyed every time you open various menus across your device’s interface. Android 5.0 Lollipop is probably one of the biggest OS updates ever released by Google and now Samsung has pushed it across Germany for all the unlocked versions of the Galaxy S5.
This new firmware update is being released in phases, which means that not all Unlocked Galaxy S5 devices in Germany are going to receive the new firmware update at the same time. When the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is sent for your device you will see a notification popping up, and the only thing that you need to do is to confirm the firmware download process in order to get it flashed on your phone.
Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update comes with the following important features and functions: new Material Design UI interface, lockscreen actionable notifications support, new toggles for Quick Settings, better graphics, Multiple Users support, Guest User, Screen Pinning, Android Runtime (ART) fully integrated, no more Dalvik, Recent multi-tasking new screen, native Battery Power Saver, and more that you can discover by yourself after completing the Lollipop installation. Remember that this update is sent only for Galaxy S5 devices running 100% stock Android 4.4.x KitKat OS.
