Galaxy Note 4 Release Date in the US Set for October 17
Earlier this month, Samsung officially announced
their new high-end phablet, but failed to reveal the exact Galaxy Note 4
release date. Well, they did mention it will be released in October, but no
exact date was provided.
Today
we hear that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date for the US market has been
set for October 17, with several carriers starting to accept pre-orders as of
September 19. As you may know, all major US carriers announced their
intentions to have the new Samsung smartphone in their portfolio.
AT&T officially announced that they will be carrying the Samsung
Galaxy Note 4 in Charcoal Black and Frost White and that they will start
accepting pre-orders on September 19. They are selling the Galaxy Note 4
at $299.99 with a two-year contract, or $825.99 contract-free. You will also be
able to get it at $41.30 per month with AT&T Next 12.5 or $34.43 per month
with AT&T Next 18.5.
Verizon will also start accepting Galaxy Note
4 pre-orders on September 19 and have the phone in their stores by October 17.
US’ biggest carrier is selling the device at $299.99 with a two-year contract.
It’s also worth noting that it will be available with Verizon Edge.
The
T-Mobile pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will debut September 24
and they will start shipping the device on October 17. The off-contract price
has been set at $749, but you will also be able to get your hands on it for $0
down then split the payment in 24 monthly fees of $31.24.
As
a refresher, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display
with Quad HD (1440 x 2560 resolution), quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805
processor, 3 GB of RAM, microSD, and a 3,220 mAh battery. The technical
specifications list also includes a rear-facing camera with 16 MP sensor,
optical image stabilization, and 4K video recording support, and a 3.7 MP
user-facing camera with Wide Selfie capture. The smartphone is running Android
4.4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top of it, while bringing all the connectivity
features worthy of a modern smartphone including LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
4.1, NFC, IR baster, and microUSB 2.0.
