Apple iPhone 6, 6 Plus: Overheating Issues Not to Be Worried About

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has been the more popular of the two new iPhones, with pre-orders selling out hours before iPhone 6 pre-orders sold out. Sadly, it seems quite a few people are experiencing a significant issue with their new iPhone 6 Plus. The new device seems to be getting “extremely” hot according to many tweets and Reddit posts - but there’s absolutely no need to worry just yet.
Apple iPhone 6 overheating complaints pile up
This is extremely common while downloading your apps and heavily using your device, especially in the first few hours that you’ve picked it up. A fresh phone means the software has yet to index everything in your e-mail account, previous text messages, etc. This tends to happen after finishing a restore on your phone.
A few users have noticed the iPhone 6 getting hot while restoring as well, but once again, the phone is just uploading all of your information and software and there is no need to worry just yet.
What’s strange is that not as many 4.7in iPhone 6 owners have reported overheating issues, but then again, some folks haven’t specified which device they’re using. The chances are very slim that anything’s actually wrong with the devices, so don’t freak out too much.
Although many people have reported the device is getting much hotter than their previous devices have, with Reddit user, runningfromthevoid, saying it’s nearly “uncomfortable to hold”, it may just be people being paranoid and noticing every little thing about their new smartphones.
