Samsung
Galaxy Note 3 Deal: Price Dropped by $200
Following the recent announcement of the latest
addition to Samsung’s super-sized smartphone series, the Galaxy Note 4, the South Korean company has reduced the prices for
its previous iteration, the Galaxy Note 3. The
price decrease is currently in place across various mobile networks, online
retailers, and brick-and-mortar stores all over North America.
Note
3 deals on Amazon, Verizon, and AT&T
Amazon, the leading online e-commerce service in the United
States, lists the device at $599.99, down by $200 from the previous price of
$799.99 for brand new off-contract devices. Amazon also offers on-contract
iterations of the Galaxy
Note 3. Verizon
Wireless subscribers can avail of the 32GB version of the device with a
24-month contract for a one-time fee of $99.99 – the 64GB version goes for
$149.99. A used version of the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 is also available at $385,
off-contract. For AT&T subscribers,
you can avail of the device on-contract for free for the 32GB iteration, and
$75 for the 64GB version. This also comes with a 24-month contract. Sprint only
offers the Galaxy Note 3 off-contract for $599.99.
The 32GB version of the Galaxy Note 4
is currently available for pre-order from Verizon and AT&T for $299.99 with a 24-month
contract, and is available in only two colors for now – Charcoal Black and
Frosted White. The expected date of release is October 17th.
The off-contract price for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be $826, an amount marginally larger than
the lowest-tier iteration of the iPhone 6 currently being sold at $649,
unlocked.
