Samsung’s ‘Project Zero’ to Overhaul Galaxy S6 Series

A couple of big rumors a while back indicated that Samsung is working on what they call ‘Project Zero’, their next big thing, which is just a codename for the Samsung Galaxy S6. This project is going to be huge, as the tech giant is planning a complete overhaul from a design point of view.
Galaxy S6 rumors start to surface
Not long ago, Samsung released their Note Edge device, which became popular very quickly due to its unique bent display, never seen before on a smartphone. One of the complaints regarding the curvy display was that it was impractical for left hander people, and there was a certain asymmetry with it that bothered a lot of people. Well, Samsung took the feedback quite literally, and rumors are circulating about how the tech giant is planning its ‘Project Zero’ device to feature a dual-edge display. This means that the display of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be curved on both the left and right sides.
According to Korea Herald, it was Samsung’s intention to feature a dual-edge display on their Note Edge from the very beginning, but that idea was scratched, resulting in just one curved side. We’re not quite sure why Samsung decided to go through a complete overhaul with the S series, but it’s probably because their sales have been decreasing, and they are trying to get back in the game. The curved display is actually quite helpful, allowing you to perform quick gestures and access shortcuts on your phone, and it also looks pretty slick. If the South Korean tech magnate decides to go through with this new change, it will probably become popular pretty soon, because no phone has ever featured a dual-edge display. We’re also curious how this will play out in terms of battery, resolution, ppi, and so forth, but we’re assuming that Project Zero will have some amazing hardware.
